Andrew T. Gergely, M.D. & Associates L.L.C. is a multi-provider, outpatient practice offering a full range of mental health services.  Our main office is located in northern Calvert County (Dunkirk), Maryland. Our second office in located in southern Anne Arundel County ( Edgewater) Maryland. Services are available for children, teens and adults including:psychiatric assessment and medication management by Dr. Gergely and our nurse practitioner, Patricia Kane, FNP-C.  Individual psychotherapy, family and group therapy are available for for all ages.  Regena Johnson, Psy.D. is able to administer and interpret a full array of commonly used psychological tests for all ages.

Dr. Gergely is a board-certified psychiatrist with twenty years experience in the mental heath field.  After graduation from Harvard, he completed his medical training at Tufts University Medical School, Massachusetts where he was chosen Chief Resident in Psychiatry by his classmates.  After receiving his medical degree, Dr. Gergely served in the Army in Germany and Fort Meade, Maryland.  After discharge from the military, he settled in Calvert County and was employed by Calvert Psychiatric Associates and later was the Medical Director for the psychiatric unit at Calvert Memorial Hospital. After several years of balancing the hospital unit and his outpatient practice, in 2006 Dr. Gergely focused his attention on building a community-based outpatient practice in Calvert County and later Anne Arundel, Maryand.  As a local resident, Dr. Gergely is active in the community through various charities and philanthropic and individual interests. 

After receiving her Masters in Nursing from Carlow College in Pennsylvania, Patricia Kane, FNP-C, continued her education to become a nurse practitioner.  Since completing her education, Patti worked in family practice in Pennsylvania for several years. When she and her family relocated to Maryland, she worked for several years at the National Rehabilitation Hospital in Washington D.C.  In 2003, Patti joined Dr.Gergely at Calvert Memorial Hospital and rekindled her interest in Psychiatry.  Dr. Gergely and Patti worked together to provide quality care to patients in the psychiatric unit, both inpatient and through the day treatment program at CMH.
